These are the rules for using TAGNTAG. Using the platform means accepting them.

Who can use TAGNTAG

You need to be at least 13. If you are under 18, some settings are set more privately by default and cannot be loosened.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what is posted from it.

What you post

You keep ownership of your videos, photos and words. You give TAGNTAG permission to store and display them so the platform can work — show your post in a feed, in a chain, and to whoever you TAG. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies kept for the safety reasons described in the privacy policy.

Challenges

TAGNTAG is built on challenging other people, and that carries a responsibility the rest of this page is downstream of.

• Never send a challenge that could physically hurt someone: heights, fire, water, vehicles, electricity, weapons, fighting, going without food, or consuming anything that is not food.
• Never use a challenge to humiliate, frighten or single out a particular person.
• Making a challenge harder means more skill, more precision or less time. It never means more risk.
• Nobody has to accept. Declining is private, always — the person who sent it is not told, and it is never shown anywhere.

Challenges are checked automatically before they are delivered, and dangerous ones are refused. That check is a backstop, not permission to push at the edges of it.

What is not allowed

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate directed at people.
• Sexual content, and anything at all that endangers a child.
• Encouraging self-harm or suicide.
• Scams, impersonation, and spam.
• Posting other people’s work as your own.
• Filming someone who has not agreed to be filmed, where they would expect privacy.
• Automated access, scraping, or trying to get around the platform’s limits and safety checks.

Moderation

Content that breaks these rules can be removed, and accounts can be suspended or banned. Where a decision is made about your content you will be told, and you can appeal it. A different person reviews an appeal from the one who made the original decision.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We can suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaks these rules, or once for something serious enough.

No promises about availability

TAGNTAG is provided as it is. It is early software and it may be unavailable, lose data, or change. Do not rely on it as the only copy of anything you care about.

TAGNTAG is a new and independent platform. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
